I’ve been running modified struts with reversed bags for years, and honestly, my kit has never let me down. Thus, I want to share this to my RSX/DC5 community out there who are interested, so that they can too, ride as low, or even lower, with the comfort ability and performance experience. I’ve spent thousands before, along with time and effort in researching, to find the perfect combination and adjustment for my car to be the way it is today (which I’ve tested for years before sharing it here today).

About:

These are a pair of Koni Struts for the rear that has been highly customized to serve the purpose of bagging the rear of an RSX/DC5. It is customized to be reversed mounted to provide a great amount of clearance between the wheels and the bags.

Modified struts features high quality Koni struts, proven to handle stress and the abuse of daily driving. This kit is designed for easy bolt-on installations, meaning, it can be installed as is to your OEM top mount (It can be purchased here if you do not have one)! No modifications to the OEM shock absorbers are needed.

This kit comes with:

• Two (2) rear modified Koni Struts with adjustable dampening system engineered to fit regular bags for RSX/DC5. Management System (tanks, compressors, valves, air lines, etc.) are not included and are sold separately.

This kit requires a management system (tanks, compressors, valves, air lines, etc.) and OEM top hat which are purchased separately. There is the option of including the top hat in the order in the options menu.

Notice: This kit is meant to be sold to people with existing management systems who are looking to replace their rears or to people who are looking for an affordable part to add on to their future setup.

Sleeved-Type Bags vs. Modified Koni Struts:

Because this is modified to perfection for the RSX/DC5, it is incomparable to sleeved-type of bags. This kit only requires a bolt-on assembly to the car with regular bags, which these bags can be replaceable over the years. Easy maintenance!

As experienced in the past, not all sleeved bags are durable. They’re either too thin, making it impossible to go super low, or extremely sensitive which makes them capable of exploding at any time when riding at high PSI. It cannot handle the abuse/daily driving, which is why air setups were mostly meant for show cars. Now, I’ve provided a way where I took the setup out of the show car scene, and built it intoa daily driving machine. These customized struts will definitely get you lowered to the ground, guaranteed!

FAQ’s:

1. What is the use of these modified struts?

- You can use this kit and install them to the rears, along with regular bags that will sit perfectly. They will be a replacement or an upgrade to what you previously had (coilovers, blown shocks...) and no wirings, hardline changes, or other modifications are needed when installing. It has multiple adjusting dampening to satisfy the driver of reaching a specific set height first. From there, the driver can adjust the height even more by changing the PSI in the bags.

2. Why should I buy your product?

- Inexpensive: Compared to other products offered on the market with average range around $2,500 - $3,000 or even higher, this kit is definitely only a fraction of it’s price! I understand how ridiculously expensive that sounds, and I feel the pain when seeing those types of numbers myself. Therefore, I’ve figured a way to cut the cost, where I can produce the same quality as other products, or even better, and be able to share it with my car enthusiast community.

- Durability: This is proven to last long, guaranteed. With brand new Koni struts made for performance, these will last very long, as well as keeping the bags safe from any contact with the wheels. I’ve ran this setup for years to ensure its durability and comfort, as well as safety for my ride. I had oem struts before, and with modified Koni’s, I definitely felt the difference with its adjustable dampening capability.

3. Why are you only selling the rears customized and not the fronts as well?

- From experience, the rears modifications are the most expensive I’ve came across, when purchasing. You can’t just buy rear setups at other places, and even if they offer, it will be used with thin bags, making the purchase a waste of money! Therefore, I am selling the rears because it can be used with current front coilovers. This is also the perfect add-on to combine to the current management setup, or a beginning of a new build!

4. I’m currently running coilovers as my setup. Can I still buy and install them to my car?

- Unfortunately, these rear modified struts are used along with a management system (tanks, valves, air lines, etc..). But wait, if you’re looking to change your setup, you can still keep your coilovers! You can leave your front coilovers installed, and replace your rear coilovers with these struts. You would also need to purchase a management system and have the hardlines connect to the bags on these rear struts, and there you have it; an expensive nicely built air setup. On a personal note, a lot of people I know are only running bags in the rears, and their car sits nice flat on the ground!

5. Will I be able to get as low as you?

- My RSX/DC5 has been known to many for its stance built, and the way it sits. You may have come across my car at shows, Instagram/fb, or just cruising around in LA area. When I am driving, I have the ability to adjust my height from riding high to riding low, and when completely at no PSI in my bags (aired down), my lip completely kisses the ground. This kit I am selling is the reason my car is the way it is; it has provided me the comfort and the assurance to have my car at any height! With these Koni struts however, they offer multiple levels of adjustable dampening making it easier for you to ride even lower than me! You can first adjust your dampening, and then air down, which gives you the ability to ride low like me, or most likely lower!
